The Osceola County School District is planning ahead for the upcoming spring administration of the Florida Standards Assessment by allowing students to have a full day of school on the Wednesdays when the test will be administered. As such, parents should be advised that there will be no early release of students on the following Wednesdays:

April 22, 2015
April 29, 2015
Students will be dismissed from school those days as they normally would on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Read more...

Welcome to Sunrise Elementary. We have a dynamic school with a vision to meet the academic and social needs of our student body. It takes a team of dedicated staff on a common mission to accomplish this. For the past 9 years we have focused on student achievement and providing a balanced K-5 education. Students are encouraged to do their best to make a difference in the Sunrise school community. With service learning clubs, art, music, health/wellness and technology, our students get the benefit of extracurricular opportunities to better themselves and those around them. Join me this year in not only celebrating our students but also our 10th Anniversary. We have a rich history of providing the best education possible. I know the next 10 years will be even better!
